The evil eye is a talisman that has been used for centuries in many cultures as protection.

The "red thread" is a symbolic concept found in various cultures and traditions. Its meanings can differ depending on context, but some common interpretations include:

  1. Chinese Legend of the Red Thread of Fate: In Chinese culture, it is believed that an invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. This is often associated with the idea of soulmates or destined relationships.

  2. Symbol of Connection and Fate: In many contexts, a red thread symbolizes connections between people, events, or moments in life that are meant to be linked by fate. It can represent the unbreakable bond between individuals, often seen in the context of relationships, friendships, or family.

  3. Spiritual Significance: In some spiritual practices, especially in Hinduism and Buddhism, a red thread is tied around the wrist as a talisman for protection, good fortune, or as a symbol of a spiritual bond or commitment.

  4. Western Interpretations: In more modern or Western contexts, a red thread can signify continuity, purpose, or a guiding principle that runs through someone's life, keeping them focused or connected to their personal or spiritual path.

In all these interpretations, the red thread represents a meaningful connection, often related to fate or destiny.

Care Instructions:

I know many of you wear your evil eye bracelets all the time, some of you even buy them in pairs to have the other one available in case the one you are wearing breaks and some of you remove them to shower and exercise. Here is the care guide that I always share with my customers to prolong the life of their evil eye bracelets.

Do not soak in water to avoid wear of the threads. If for any reason the threads get wet, wait until they get totally dry to remove your jewelry. Avoid direct contact with body lotions and perfumes. Rough treatments can loosen the beads. Use mild soap and water to clean the silk threads if needed, rinse and let it dry. If the cord gets crimps, put your fingers on top of the crimp and make a soft movement up and down the cord and the crimp will be removed. You can wet the cord to straighten it again.
